District Grand Chapters

The State of Queensland is divided into five separate District Grand Chapters. Each District Grand Chapter is responsible for the management of local Chapters within its District. The Worthy District Grand Matron and Worthy District Grand Patron are appointed by the Grand Chapter of Queensland to visit each Chapter in their District at least once each year. After visiting the last Chapter during their annual term of office they each report to the Grand Chapter as to areas of excellence found in each Chapter as well as areas where they have been able to assist Chapters. The geographic size of Queensland, and therefore each District, makes these visits a major undertaking but essential to ensure that all Members feel included within the Order.
