Monto Deb BallOur sincere thanks must go to those willing helpers who assisted with Organising decorations, raffles and “Supper”. It would be very remiss of me not to mention those who assisted with training the “Debs”, teaching dancing and etiquette and holding a “Pamper Day” – many Thanks.
The Decorations on stage at the Ball included the Emblems of each of the 3 organisations involved, The OES Star as made and provided by I.P.W.M. Sis. Pat Bowles and W.M. Sis. Jan Mossman and now adorns our OES Chapter along with the Chair covers for the backs of the Point’s chairs each displaying their individual symbols.
During the past month we were saddened to record the passing of Past Worthy Patron, Bro. Bill Myles, who initiated the idea of encouraging young people by holding a Deb Ball. Bro. Bill Myles, the recipient of numerous Ball Room Dancing Awards shared his expertise with the Debs and their Partners.
