Brisbane District Grand Chapter O.E.S. Centennial Celebration
The WDGM, Sister Winnie Mitchell and WDGP Brother Ray Kendrick of Brisbane District Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, organised a picnic day which was held at the Ben Bennett Bushland Park Caloundra on Sunday 15th July 2012 to celebrate the momentous occasion of the Order of the Eastern Star reaching 100 years in Australia. This was an occasion for all Members of the Order to celebrate the first Chapter which was opened in Queensland 100 years ago. This was followed by other Chapters in all States in Australia with the exception of Northern Territory.
As part of the Masonic Family, we are a “not for profit” organisation which donates thousands of dollars annually to charities throughout Australia. Our Organisation is represented in all countries throughout the World.
To celebrate this occasion, functions will be held in various locations throughout the year and all members are encouraged to come and join in these celebrations.
